Copenhagen Trip...

[Click on the pic to enlarge the photos]

Was on my way to one of the attractions when I pass by this private harbor. Kinda like this place. The scenery is good and it's quiet. Perhaps can chill out here for the whole afternoon...

Heard this particular group of people talking...Suspected they were my fellow Sgreans from the way they spoke...Not in Singlish, but the tone they spoke in is just distinctive...After a while, my doubt was confirmed when they started using the “lah”s and “leh”s...Haha...Approached them for a pic...And they were actually SIA crews who had just landed...Cool!!! It’s always nice to meet Sgreans in foreign places...

Den Lille Havfrue: The Little Mermaid statue...It seems kinda lonely to wait for someone by the shore...A wait of eternity...

A place like Clarke Quay back home...But it the atmosphere is definitely much nicer here...Real boats by the river with people hanging out on them...Musicians performing...Locals drinking and chilling out everywhere...Ducks swimming around on the river...I even had a fun time “sharing” my ice-cream cone with the ducks...haha

Carlsberg Brewery Visitor Center: The place where it started!!! Beer is kinda cheap here...In fact, it’s cheaper than Coca Cola!!!

Our Saviour’s Church (Spiral Church): Have you ever wonder what the stairway to heaven looks like?

View from the top...If you still haven’t notice, there is a stairway that lead right to the peak of the church’s pointed ceiling...It’s freaking high there and the railing is only slightly above waist level!!! To get to the top, you need to climb up some dark stairways inside the church, past those gigantic bells, then exit at the base of the cone-shape ceiling and continue up the narrow spiral stairway. The steps just get narrower by each step, till a point which you can no longer step on it. For the sake of getting a glimpse of the view from the peak, the journey up there is definitely worth it...

Frederiksberg Castle: Nice royal garden, nice castle exterior, but gloomy weather...Sigh...

The interior of the castle was impressive...All its statues, monuments, ceiling etc were skillfully crafted right down to the details...

Christiania: A freetown, not under government control...A self-governing society whereby each and every individual holds themselves responsible over the wellbeing of the entire community. This place has a long history and started of with a group of people protesting against the Danish government. No taking of pics are allow in the small town...In fact, a local shouted “No picture!!! Delete picture!!!” at a friend of mine who was merely carrying a cam...So these pics were from the entrance and exit of the town...Actually it’s a really interesting place that I came to know about only during my visit here, especially after I came to know about its history. In fact, a violent riot between the locals and the police broke out here a few days before my visit...Go Google for it to find out more...

Yip & Me: The day I left Denmark...Shuan (Amsterdam) and Xueyin (London) arriving next...People come and go ya :)

Thanks Yip!!! Good luck for your coming Europe trip!!!
